My Why
The offerings I share are not only drawn from what I have studied, but also from the tapestry of my own life experiences.
Today, I share what I do because I have walked through the pain of loss, the grief of losing a parent, and the personal journey of healing from health challenges.
I’ve faced moments that changed me.
I longed for someone to hold my hand through it all.
Now, I am here to hold yours.
Firstly thank you for being here. Since the age of 21 I was faced with a variety of different forms of grief .Loss of Health, the Passing of my dear father, Heartbreak. The truth is, grief never really leaves us.
When we allow ourselves to tend to it to truly feel it , to be held in tending to our grief something beautiful begins to stir.
Grief is love that has nowhere to go. maybe that hollow space inside you...Maybe it’s not emptiness.Maybe it’s the gateway to a deeper connection. To yourself and life itself.
Through Rituals, practices, somatic informed therapies, restorative yoga, pranayama practices, and the wisdom of yoga philosophy and texts, I found the support I needed to tender to my own grieve physically and emotionally.
Now I share what helped me with you.
My Dad walks with me everyday as I share from my heart to yours.
I started my research into wellbeing 15 years ago . I first studied Anatomy and sports science at university when I did my teaching degree ( Ba Hon’s)
Before diving deeper into this work I I was a personal trainer with a strong interest on anatomy and nutrition, I have also been a Dance Teacher for 10 years with a strong understanding of the physical body.
Today all my titles of personal trainer, dancer teacher, nutritionist, yoga teacher, yoga therapist , grief tending therapist all combine together to give a rich understanding of the physical , spiritual and mental body.
Making what I share today a really rich experience from so many perspectives of wellness .
I Today predominately hold the titles of Grief therapist, Kirtan leader and yoga& meditation Facilitator.
My qualifications as a teacher and student over the last 10 years include over 900 hours of studies.
